Last week, Adam and Marty were proud to serve as masters of ceremonies for this year’s Esca Bona, the annual conference of entrepreneurs, technologists and business leaders working to fix our broken food system. It was three days filled with inspiring talks, lively panel discussions and interesting collaborations. We got together with our friends at Real Ale to celebrate the launch of Axis IPA. The name is an homage to the Axis deer, which like any IPA has its roots in India, but has found a home in the Texas Hill Country. We designed the tap handle and icon to help separate this big, juicy beer from the growing IPA herd. Learn more about it here. Last week, we launched an animated film for Clif Bar Family Foundation featuring a foul-mouthed organic seed character, voiced by the amazingly talented comedian Pete Holmes. The project was a collaboration with Buck and Antfood and has been more than a year in-the-making. We’re proud to finally see Mr. Seed get his moment in the sun and some nice ink in the process, like Adweek’s Ad of the Day. We are seeking a junior level designer with 1–5 years of experience. Candidate must exhibit competence in taking initial brand design and extending it across a variety of media including print and digital. Candidate will work closely with design directors and will also be responsible for print layout (short and long form), package design, web design, production, new business decks and more. Attention to detail is critical. Must have a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to work closely with our internal team, problem solve for clients within brand guidelines, and listen to and apply client feedback. We are a small shop and thus require a candidate who is highly flexible with their skill set and willing to learn new skills.
We recently worked with the good folks at Tool of North America and the crazy talented @SteveMapp to create “Confidence”—a video for College Board and Khan Academy announcing their new SAT practice site. And we’re proud to say the video has been featured on Ad Age’s Creativity. A slow-motion fist bump goes out to all our fellow collaborators on this one.
