Seed Matters is the first major initiative of the Clif Bar Family Foundation, and it takes dead aim at a major issue — the endemic lack of funding for organic seed systems.
We were tapped to lead the communication effort around audience expansion: to craft messages from Seed Matters that will help broaden support on a spectrum that includes everyone from backyard gardeners to the captains of the organic food industry.
In partnership with Coloring Book Studio, writer Ronny Northrop and illustrator Katie Scott, we came up with the concept and messaging for a new website that recounts the “Greatest Story Never Told,” highlights the working programs of Seed Matters and provides ways for people to engage at the community level.
