With the parks foundation space awash in predictable green tree and leaf logos we opted to personify the foundation in the form of an iconic hummingbird, portraying the organization as a nimble force pollinating a better parks future.
To launch the new brand, we took the identity for a swim on New Year’s Day at the Barton Springs Polar Bear Plunge.
Logo and Tagline Development
With its wings in near constant motion, the hummingbird signals a tireless advocate for the parks in the Austin area. We penned the tagline “People Plus Parks” to highlight their organizational focus on the cultivation of public and private partnerships. And designed a system of business papers to enhance their daily correspondence with stakeholders.
